I chose to spend my time with Occupy Sandy as they seemed the most organized of the groups who were going out into the field. I couldn’t think of a better use of a vacation day & my friend Kristen met up with me. I figured that there was probably an overflow of people on the weekend & that people are in short supply and are needed during the week out there while many are at work. As I walked into the hub at the Church of St. Luke and St. Matthew at 520 Clinton Avenue, I was equally hopeful and nervous, since I had no idea what to expect or where I’d be going, or exactly what I’d be doing.
