Flag Day also serves dual purpose as the Army’s birthday. The park was filled with servicemen, veterans, and the usual lunch crowd. USO girls performed “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” (got a posed shot of the gals after the performance - the lawn was completely clear during the show) and musicians dressed in revolutionary era costumes performed at the perimeter of the park.
