Lexington Avenue/51st Street Station on Flickr.On President’s Day, I had to go to work and the 7 wasn’t running all the way into the city, so I took the E to Lex, thinking I could get the 6 down to Grand Central. Turns out, there were no downtown trains at 51st (downtown trains were running express that day), so I just left the station and walked to work (it’s really not that far). The station was actually not so crowded since most people were off from work.
