It’s one of those places that is charmingly frozen in time, that hasn’t really changed much. The food is straightforward and classic - I used to rely on their grilled cheese sandwiches, which were a perfect slice of comfort food. Oh, and don’t forget to get an egg cream while you’re at it. A classic luncheonette like this is so rare these days - it’s an endangered species. Even the term itself, “luncheonette” is long gone from common vernacular.
